Fire at Maple Street home leaves four injured.

MANCHESTER, N.H.- A fire Sunday morning on Maple Street has left four people, including two firefighters injured.

Authorities said the fire broke out around 9am on the first floor of a multi-family home.

Officials said crews entered the building through the front door and pushed through what they described as “an extremely hot and smoke-filled apartment.”

Authorities received multiple reports of people trapped on both the first and second floors, but no victims were found.

Officials note that the two firefighters injured suffered minor burns to their faces and were taken to an area hospital and have since been cleared to return to work. As for the two other people injured their condition remains unknown.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
