And The CMT Goes To…

The CMT Music Awards were on Sunday night (April 7th)! Just in case you went to bed early, or just didn’t watch it, here are some of the winners that you absolutely need to remember.

Jelly Roll definitely won the most this year, with Video of the Year, Male Video, CMT Performance of the Year 2023 for the song Need a Favor.

Lainey Wilson took home Female Video of the Year with Watermelon Moonshine.

Duo of the Year was obviously won by Dan + Shay with Save Me the Trouble.

Carly Pearce and Chris Stapleton won Collaborative Video of the Year with their song that soared the country radio charts for fifteen weeks in a row (We Don’t Fight Anymore).

Ashley Cooke has blown up over the last year all over social media, winning Breakthrough Female Video of the Year (Your Place).

Warren Zeiders with Pretty Little Poison won Breakthrough Male Video of the Year.

Scotty McCreery and It Matters to Her won CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year.

Trisha Yearwood took home the June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award.

Is there any awards that the CMT should have had? Who won awards in your book this year?
