Chris Young Responds To The Beer Throwing Incident

Chilifest was live in Texas was a couple of weekends ago! It’s a music festival where a number of popular country music artists come to play for around 35,000 fans. Although usually a positive experience for many, country star Chris Young abruptly stops his show.

On April 7th when Chris Young was performing at the festival, someone in the crowd threw a beer onto the stage. It just barely missed Young, to which he paused the show and said…

“If you can’t fight me in the parking lot when I’m 6’4 and 255 (lbs), stop throwing s**t.”

It is frustrating that artist are continuing to have to doge flying objects onto the stage. Last summer, there was a big uptick in phones, drinks, and other objects being thrown where other artists spoke out including Harry Styles, P!nk, and many more.
