Ernest Is Taking Time Off, Here’s What He’s Up To!

Ernest has been working his butt of this last year! Whether he’s touring the world or his newest album Nashville Tennessee that he released earlier this year, this guy is killing it in the country world.

However, Ernest is also a family man, with his wife Delany and his son Ryman who is three years old. Ernest decided to take to Instagram and announce that he will be taking a break from touring to spend time with his family.

“Getting out and playing for you guys every night has been a dream. But running non-stop I’m not gonna lie, it’s taken its toll on me. After getting back from London, it’s really hit me.” Ernest says in his Instagram post.

“I’m going to be taking about a month off to reset and spend some time at home with my family. My son, Ryman is now at the age where every time I get home, he asks me if Im leaving… and I just can’t stand hearing him ask for daddy thru a phone call any more… I wanna spend quality time at home and pour into that reserve.”

“I’m lucky to have a lot of incredible things coming up, and because of that I want to show up as my best self for my family and for you guys. We will be back on the road soon, and I can’t thank you all enough for the support.” The full Instagram post is linked below!

Many country stars support Ernests’ decision, like Lainey Wilson commenting “This makes me happy”, and Randy Houser sharing it’s the “hardest part of what we do”.

Now we’re left with questions, like when will he be back? Will we see anything from him during his time off? The answer is yes! Here’s what Ernest has been up to since his announcement…

  1. Cover Videos

2. Kitchen Jams

3. Announcements

4. The Mile High Band?

It’s great to see Ernest happy! Everyone needs a break and thank you to Ernest for normalizing it.
