Lainey Wilson Is A Member Of The Opry

A couple of nights ago Lainey Wilson was officially inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, and here’s how it went down.

Lainey Wilson had a guest appearance on NBC’s the Voice! The video below shares Wilson finishing her performance and time on the show.

The host Carson Daly directs the attention to the country queen icon for her feedback, Reba McEntire.

McEntire shares that she is “so proud” of Wilson as she approaches the stage. Wilson really looks up to McEntire and all that she is done for country music, which McEntire addresses.

McEntire is holding something in her hand, which is a little suspicious. It makes you think, what’s really going on here? Is it some sort of announcement coming?

McEntire shares that Lainey Wilson is a joy, as she “bridges the gap” between the old and new of country music. McEntire, on the verge of tears opens the box and shares the news that Wilson will be inducted to the Grand Ole Opry!

I didn’t expect to cry this morning! Watch the video on Instagram for the full effect.
