That’s Not New Morgan Wallen Music

Or is it ….

Morgan Wallen is lashing back against his former management who are releasing some of his early music against his wishes.

Long story short, early on in his career he had a recording deal with a local investor in Florida and an artist management deal the he says he, “deeply regrets”. Those individuals are releasing music that was recorded as a special “10th Anniversary” stand alone EP which includes a fan favorite, “Spin You Around”. This is being done against Morgan’s wishes.

Morgan said, “We made 13 songs. Some were ok, most were terrible as I was just learning how to write in general and figuring it all out. I was not the nly collaborator, so many of those songs were not my idea, nor to my standards.”

Morgan calls the release, “Gross, greedy, and an example of how the dark side of the music business can suck the soul out of artists.”

To retaliate, Morgan re-recorded “Spin You Around” and released it at the same time as the one his former management released. He is also donating $100K from the Morgan Wallen Foundation to the Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts (VLPA) program.
