New Years in Nashville Official Rules


Monday through Friday between November 11th, 2024 and November 30th, 2024, listeners 21 years and older can listen to 96.5 Live Free Country to hear the keyword and enter it online at livefreecountry.com for the chance to win a the grand prize in the “Nashville New Year” contest. There are four keywords each day (8a/11a/2p/5p/7p). Each word can be entered once per person for a total of five entries per day. There is one winner selected at random using Audience software on December 2nd 2024. Each listener can qualify up to 5x per day throughout the contest.
The only other way to qualify for the grand prize is by attending one of two qualifying events to occur Saturday Nov 16th 2024  & Wednesday Nov 27th 2024. Attendees can fill out the form (includes name, date of birth, address, email, phone number) and submit it for the chance to be picked at the end of the event. Winner will be chosen at random. Must be present to win. The qualifiers chosen at the two events will win a bonus chance in the drawing to be entered into the drawing for the grand prize.
One of the qualifiers will be chosen at random on Monday, December 2nd, 2024 as the grand prize winner. The grand prize is a check in the amount $1,000. Tuesday December 31st 2024, and a 3 night stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Nashville TN. Winner is responsible for booking their own flight. All incidentals at the hotel, i.e., room service, movie rental, etc., will be the responsibility of the winner. The prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Winners must follow all COVID protocols of the specified venue. WMLL is not responsible for any event rescheduling or cancellation. The winner is responsible for all applicable local, state and Federal taxes. The winner’s name and city of residence will be posted online at livefreecountry.com and may be shared on Live Free Country social media accounts. The winner must confirm their full name, date of birth, phone number, gender, social security number, and email address.
WMLL contests are open to all eligible (location/state) 21 or older have not won anything on WMLL in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. WMLL reserves the right to disqualify any entrant in its sole discretion. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any online registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed the registrant, and s/he must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in the disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void. No purchase necessary.  Employees of WMLL, Manchester Media Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WMLL main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
