Mirabel is a 15-month-old, mixed breed, black and tan, female spayed dog. She is 44 pounds and is fully grown. Mirabel came to Nashua from Texas through our partnership with a southern rescue organization so not a lot is known about her past.
Through her interactions with staff here at the shelter, we have learned that Mirabel is very sweet, LOVES people and loves to snuggle. She loves toys, especially squeaky ones. She is eager to learn commands and is proficient in “sit” and “down.” Our trainer is working with her on loose-leash walking!
The ideal home for Mirabel would be a home where her new family has NO other animals and can help her continue to master her skills. She is under-socialized with other dogs, but in a contained environment, with a slow introduction, she may be able to have another dog friend.
