Weekdays 10am – 3pm

Hi, my name is Mark Healey, your workday host here at Live Free Country!  I am a life-long granite-stater. I started at what was WKNE-AM and WKNE FM in Keene.  I got my start after my freshman year in high school.  I love country music, which still comes as a shock to both of my friends. I list my favorite country singers below, but I love all types of music.  Some of my favorites include Billy Joel, Otis Redding, Ed Sheeran, Ray Lamontagne, and Elton John.

I am a graduate of Keene State College where I received a BS in Business Management. In my spare time I enjoy watching our Boston sports teams and hacking up the golf course with my son.  (We try and replace our divots, but there are a lot of them.  Sorry!)

Favorite Food: Has to be Pizza.  With meat on it.  Lots of meat.
Favorite Restaurant: There’s this place in Raymond that I love. (Can I mention their name?  Email me and I’ll give you the 411. ) Everything on the menu is amazing.
Favorite Movie: Can’t Buy Me Love….The nerd gets the girl….Need I say more?
Favorite Country Acts/Singers:  Ashley McBride, Morgan Wallen, The Lukes and Chris Stapleton.  Oh and Eric Church.   Also Garth and Carrie and Miranda.   Helk, I love’em all.
Favorite TV Shows:  Chicago P.D. and Blue Bloods.  I also love Seinfeld and Two and A Half Men.  So funny!

Favorite New England vacation spot:  Long Sands Beach in Maine with Liza.

Last concert you saw: Ashley McBride.  She is unbelievable live!

Career Highlight:  Has to be getting to interview Luke Bryan in person/on the radio before a show.  He’s as nice as you think!
