Carly Pearce on Kicking a Rude Fan Out of Her Show: “My Kentucky Came Out”

Last week, Carly Pearce was performing at a festival and she said to the crowd, “I want to tell you a little about me.”  To which a rude fan then yelled, “No one cares.”

So Carly did what any performer would do in this situation:  Swore a bunch, and then kicked the dude out.  Don’t mess with Carly.

Well, she just spoke about the experience for the first time, and she didn’t back down.  Carly said, “I guess people are learning a new side of me, but the boys do it all the time.  It’s no different.

“If somebody’s going to show disrespect at my show, get out . . . He hit me in a moment where my Kentucky came out full force . . . and I’m so tired of being afraid of standing up for myself.”

Good for you, Carly.  I bet people will now think twice about talking smack at one of your shows.
