George Strait’s Go-To Hangover Cure Is a Bowl of what?!?!

George Strait is the King of Country.  So, when he talks, we listen.  But have you ever heard of George’s hangover cure?  It’s definitely NOT what you’re expecting.

First off, he seems like such a stand-up guy that I can’t imagine he’s a huge partier.  But playing country music shows for decades, he’s bound to feel slow the next day after a hard night of drinking.

Here’s what he said, “When I happen to have the occasional hangover, which I try not to do . . . If I can get some menudo, that’s what I get . . . It’s very, very tasty.”

If you’re not familiar, menudo is a traditional Mexican soup that features TRIPE, which is the stomach lining of a cow.  To be fair, George is from Texas, so he has access to places that sell menudo.

But for the rest of us, I guess we’ll just stick to Advil and Gatorade.
