Laura Loves it – Lava Lamp – 4/7/26

Here’s something I picked up for my oldest for Christmas. Anthony doesn’t love sleeping in the dark, and it got me thinking—I used to have a lava lamp as a nightlight when I was younger, and loved it.

This one has such a cool retro vibe. The one I chose has a ribbed design with almost a vinyl-like feel, which makes it stand out right away. The record-style base is such a fun touch—it gives off a really cool 70s aesthetic and feels way more unique than a basic lava lamp.

Once it heats up, the wax flow is super smooth and mesmerizing. It’s perfect for winding down at night or just adding a relaxing ambiance to a room.

It’s also a great size—about 14.5 inches—so it fits nicely on a desk or shelf without taking up too much space. And setup couldn’t be easier—just plug it in and let it warm up.
