Skeleton Strip Show Shakes Things up in Florida Neighborhood

Skeleton strip show rattles neighbors, sparks debate over Halloween decor

In Minneola, Florida, one homeowner decided to raise the dead — and the eyebrows
Personally I sitck with the basics, witches, bats, spider webs but I love to see people using creativity. Someone in Florida had featured a Halloween display with cigar-puffing, beer-chugging skeletons and one bold bony performer working the pole dancing around.
Some neighbors were shook to the marrow. Some laughed, some clutched their pearls, and others fired up the neighborhood Facebook page faster than you can say “spooky scandal.”
One mom next door said her kids love the dancing skeletons — because apparently, when you’ve got no flesh, you’ve got no shame. But critics argued it was “inappropriate for kids walking to school,” proving once again that nothing divides a community like undead pole dancers.
The best part? Someone actually tattled to the HOA — who responded, essentially, “It’s Halloween. Chill out.”
So for now, the Minneola skeletons are free to keep getting down to their bare bones until November 1st. After that, they’ll pack up their bones, their beer, and their tiny g-strings — leaving behind only memories… and probably some traumatized garden gnomes.
