AMHERST, NH-Firefighters from several communities responded to a fire in Amherst early this morning.

Amherst Fire fighters were first on the scene at 24 Schoolhouse Road for a fully involved barn fire.

Manchester’s Engine 9 assisted in the response.  The barn appears to be a complete loss – no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
