Ashley Cooke Is Releasing Her First Christmas Album. And She Brought Her Family Along!

You know how Christmas has a way of bringing the whole family together?

Sometimes it’s around the dinner table.

Sometimes it’s in front of the Christmas tree.

And apparently, if you’re country singer Ashley Cooke, it’s inside a recording studio.

Ashley is getting into the holiday spirit with her first-ever Christmas project, wrapped, arriving Friday, November 6.

And while the five-song collection includes some familiar Christmas favorites, there’s one song that’s especially personal.

She recruited members of her own family to sing with her!

A Family Christmas, Nashville Style

The project includes Ashley’s version of the beloved Christmas carol “Silent Night.”

But this isn’t just another holiday cover.

The recording is actually titled “silent night (with the cooke family)”, because several of Ashley’s family members joined her on vocals.

It’s a pretty wonderful idea.

After all, Christmas music is often about memories, traditions and being with the people you love.

And what better way to capture that feeling than to have your actual family singing along?

The EP also includes her interpretations of “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

She’s Got Some New Christmas Music, Too

Ashley isn’t relying entirely on the classics.

She’s also introducing two original holiday songs, “secret santa” and the title track, “wrapped.”

The latter is already available to hear.

It’s a romantic Christmas song about being snowed in with someone special, surrounded by all the little things that make the holidays feel magical.

Think cozy blankets, Christmas lights and absolutely no reason to go outside.

Which, let’s face it, sounds pretty appealing during a New England winter.

The song was written by Ashley alongside Lauren Hungate, Jimmy Robbins, Alysa Vanderheym and Ben Williams, with production by Jacob Durrett.

A Busy Year Gets a Christmas Bonus

The holiday release follows an already busy year for Ashley.

She released her self-titled sophomore album in August and has been traveling on her baby blues world tour.

The tour continues into 2027, including a scheduled February 25 performance at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.

KICK 104+1

But before she heads back out on the road, she’s giving fans something a little different.

A Christmas collection featuring new songs, familiar favorites and a family singalong.

And honestly, that last part might be the sweetest gift of all.

Because no matter how big your music career gets, sometimes there’s nothing better than making a little Christmas music with the people who knew you long before you were famous.

wrapped arrives Friday, November 6, through Big Loud Records and Back Blocks Music.
