Attorney General’s office investigating police involved shooting in Landaff

LANDAFF, N.H.- The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office has confirmed it’s investigating an incident in which police ended up shooting an individual Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say the incident began when officers from multiple departments responded to a report in the area of Lost River Road in which they interacted with a man who was reportedly walking in and out of traffic.

According to the Attorney General’s office the incident resulted in police opening firing two shots wounding the unidentified induvial.

At the moment it’s unclear if the man was armed during the incident or the extent of his injuries.

Following the ordeal authorities say the man was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock hospital.
