MANCHESTER, N.H.- An investigation is underway into a possible hate crime, following an early morning break-in at the Moka Pot Coffee Shop in which the vandals spray painted swastikas and racists messages.
According to investigators early Wednesday morning sometime between midnight and 4 a.m. someone broke in, smashed windows on the front and side of the building and spray painted racist and antisemitic graffiti on the walls. Out of the break-in, authorities say the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Civil Rights Unit has joined the investigation.
Following Wednesday’s break-in folks from the community came out to help the owners repair the damage, while customers said they’re not going anywhere.
