A Danville police dog helped to find a missing boy in the Sandown woods during Tuesday’s snowstorm. Police said the boy, who has autism, ran away from home and had been missing for about an hour when he called for help, but his phone battery died after the call. Authorities say K-9 Crue was able to track his scent about a mile and a half into the woods where they found the boy under some trees.
He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
