MANCHESTER, N.H.- Dartmouth Health has announced it plans to lay off 124 people and eliminate 303 job openings from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Southern Region.

According to an announcement made Tuesday officials with the health system said that the changes will include the consolidation and restructuring of executive roles and administrative leadership and note that will also translate to some programs being eliminated; however, officials don’t anticipate that the elimination of the jobs will affect patients.

Tuesday’s announcement comes after Dartmouth reported a loss of more than $60 million last year.
