MADISON, N.H.- Former Public Works Director Josh Shackford is facing theft charges after authorities say he stole more than $1,200 from the town.
According to investigators the theft occurred between June of 2024 and November of 2025.
State Police say the charges come after they were called into investigate a report of a possible theft that was connected to the now former Public Works Director.
Following his arrest Shackford is scheduled to appear in court on August, 13,2026.
