A paraprofessional has been released on bail after allegedly assaulting an elementary school student in Hudson. Police say they were notified about an assault last week after officials at Nottingham West Elementary School reported that a student had suffered an injury to her arm. 20-year-old Jenna Kulick of Hudson was later arrested and charged with simple assault. Kulick is scheduled to be arraigned next month.

The Hudson School District said it was working with police and conducting its own investigation.
