Human remains found in Keene identified as woman missing since 2022

KEENE, N.H.- Keene Police have say human remains found last month have been identified.

According to the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner’s office the remains found in the area of the American Legion on Court Street back on April 17, 2026, have been identified as those of Brenda Kenney.

Police say Kenney, 48, had was reported missing to back in July of 2022.

The cause and manner of Kenney’s death, while not considered suspicious at this time, is still pending.
