Londonderry Firefighters battle an apartment fire

LONDONDERRY N.H. – Londonderry Firefighters responded to a 911 call Thursday afternoon following a report for an unknown odor in the building at 1 Charleston Ave.

Upon arrival crews entered the building and reported a smoke condition on the first floor and activated the fire alarm to evacuate the remainder of the building.

Crews were able to locate a fire burning in a wall between two apartments and were able to quickly open up and extinguish.

No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
