Luke Combs Hung His Rejection Letter from “The Voice” on His Wall for Motivation

Luke Combs is a massive success.  And if it wasn’t for Morgan Wallen, Luke would be the undisputed biggest name in country music right now.

So, would it surprise you that Luke was once rejected by “The Voice”?   But Luke used that as motivation.  He even put the rejection letter up on his wall to remind him.

But the reason Luke wasn’t picked for the singing competition had NOTHING to do with his voice.  Pretty odd for a show named after that very thing.

Funny enough, Morgan did make it on season 6 of “The Voice” but was eliminated in the Top 20.

Here’s what Luke had to say about it:  “The letter essentially said, ‘Hey, you’re a great singer, but this is a show and we need entertainment value . . . and we have to be able to tell a story, and you just don’t really have a story.'”
