Manchester man sentenced to prison for strangulation

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Authorities say Aaron Plourde has been sentenced to 3½ to 7 years in prison following his conviction on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including strangulation and witness tampering,

According to court documents on September 21, 2025, Plourde went to the victim’s residence and a verbal argument quickly escalated into a violent physical attack that, including attempting to strangle the victim.

A jury convicted Plourde of; two counts of Second-Degree Assault – Strangulation, two counts of Solicitation to Commit Witness Tampering and Five misdemeanor charges
