Motorcyclist injured after plunging 65 feet near 293 North Granite Street off-ramp

MANCHESTER N.H.- Officials have begun releasing details of an early morning accident in which they say a motorcyclist was severely injured.

According to investigators the unidentified induvial was injured early Wednesday morning when they were ejected over a guardrail off of Exit 5 and fell 65 feet to the riverbank below.

Investigators say the motorcyclist was believed to be traveling at a high speed and lost control, then rode the top of the guardrail before being ejected into the trees and then fell into the embankment.

Out of the crash, authorities say the man was transported to the Elliot Hospital and Health System, but have yet to offer any update on his condition.
