Pedestrian killed after being struck on Route 12 in Keene

KEENE, N.H.- Police say one person is dead after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night.

According to Police a little after 8:30p.m. officers responded to a report of a crash involving a car and pedestrian in the area of Maple Ave and Wyman Road.

Due the crash police were forced to close the area off to traffic for about four hours in order to conduct their investigation.

Officials have yet to identify the deceased, pending notification of family.
