Plaistow NH welcomes its first Bilingual Police Officer

PLAISTOW NH

Plaistow, New Hampshire, has officially welcomed its first bilingual police officer – Jardiel Gonzalez who was sworn in this week.

Gonzalez, a resident of Haverhill, Mass, is fluent in Spanish.  Plaistow’s Police Chief noted that the hire as a “great opportunity” to add a bilingual officer to the department.

Gonzalez’s addition is expected to improve communication with Spanish-speaking residents and enhance community relations.
