Riley Green already has his calendar figured out for next spring.

And if you’ve been wishing country concerts sounded a little more, well…

Country.

You may like this lineup.

But the interesting part isn’t simply that Riley is going on tour.

Look at who’s coming with him.

Muscadine Bloodline.

Randy Houser.

Jake Worthington.

Hannah McFarland.

That’s a pretty interesting snapshot of where Riley Green seems to think country music is heading.

Muscadine Bloodline has built a sizable audience largely outside the traditional radio system.

Jake Worthington makes the kind of country music where nobody needs to ask:

Is this country?

The fiddle answers the question.

Hannah McFarland is one of the young artists we’re increasingly seeing pop up around Nashville.

And Randy Houser has one of those voices that can fill just about any building without much help.

Then put Riley in the middle.

It makes sense.

The tour takes its name from Riley’s new album That’s Just Me, released September 18.

The record debuted at No. 1 and contains 19 songs, including collaborations with Brooks & Dunn, Randy Owen, Jake Worthington and Hannah McFarland. Live Nation Newsroom

So Riley is essentially taking some of the album’s world onto the road with him.

And it’s another sign of how dramatically his career has changed.

It wasn’t that long ago that Riley was the guy opening for other people.

Now he’s building a 29-city tour around his own record and choosing which younger artists get to stand on his stage.

That’s an important part of country music that fans sometimes don’t see.

Opening slots matter.

A lot.

Lainey Wilson spent years opening shows.

Luke Combs did it.

Morgan Wallen did it.

Every arena headliner was once the person playing at 7:15 while half the audience was still trying to find their seats.

So putting somebody like Hannah McFarland or Jake Worthington in front of thousands of Riley Green fans every night can change a career.

Riley is also having one of those years where everything seems to be happening at once.

He’s currently a coach on The Voice.

He recently released the new album.

He’s already been announced as a Stagecoach headliner for 2027.

And now he’s mapped out most of next spring and summer. Country Now

The That’s Just Me Tour runs through July 31, with stops including Seattle, Calgary, Chicago and Fort Worth. Country Now

Public ticket sales begin Friday, October 2, at 10 a.m. local time, with Riley’s Back 40 Duck Club presale beginning today, September 29. Live Nation Newsroom

And while Riley is obviously the name at the top of the poster, we’re going to be watching the smaller names underneath it too.

Because a year or two from now, one of them might not be underneath anybody.
