Shaheen to face DiLorenzo in 1st Congressional District race

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Voters in the 1st Congressional District will have to choose between Democrat Stefany Shaheen and Republican Anthony DiLorenzo.

The final call in Shaheen’s favor comes after her race was finally called around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in which she declared a victory over Maura Sullivan and Carleigh Beriont.

According to the final numbers Shaheen ended up gaining 37% of the vote, while Sullivan earned 35 % and Beriont received 22% of votes.

DiLorenzo’s victory came amongst a crowded field of Republican challengers including Hollie Novelinsky and Brian Cole, and after receiving the endorsement of President Donald Trump.
