Six Manchester Residents Arrested in Violent Boston Subway Robbery


BOSTON, MA – Six residents of Manchester, New Hampshire, are facing multiple charges following a “brazen” daytime robbery and assault at the Downtown Crossing MBTA station,

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office reported that the group allegedly targeted a 19-year-old victim as he exited a train. The confrontation escalated quickly into a violent pursuit through one of the city’s busiest transit hubs.

According to investigators, the victim was chased onto a station escalator where he was set upon by the group. The young man told police he was knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked in the face and head. During the assault, the group allegedly stripped him of his iPhone, identification, and credit cards before fleeing the station.
