Superintendent of Schools for Nashua hoping to avoid having to close schools


NASHUA, NH – Superintendent of Schools for Nashua Mario Andrade’s version of the district’s proposed operating budget for fiscal 2027, is expected to increase the current budget by roughly $8 million.

The Superintendent’s version is roughly 3% less than the original budget proposal. He told Board of Education members this week that he is not recommending closing any of the district’s schools.

Andrade’s proposed budget, including benefits, stands at $206 million.
