Two children hit by motor vehicle in Manchester

MANCHESTER, N.H- Police say two children were injured Wednesday afternoon after they were hit by a car on Havard Street.

According to police the incident occurred a little before 4:30 p.m. when officers responded to a report that a lone child had been hit, but once on scene found that a 7-year-old and an 8-year-old had both been hit.

Following the ordeal police say one child was taken to the hosptial with serious injurires, while the other was treated at the scene for minor injuries .

As for a driver or even a discription of a vehicle involved, police have yet to release that information, but say the investigation is on-going.
