MANCHESTER, N.H.- Manchester police are investigating a hit-and-run connected to a domestic violence incident near Brook Street.

Officials said a 59-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle and suffered a serious leg injury before the driver fled the scene Wednesday.

Investigators later identified the driver as Jamie Spears, 29, of Manchester.

Officials said she and the other woman, described as a relative, were arguing and Spears allegedly got into the vehicle, accelerated and struck the woman.

The victim was taken to the hospital. Spears later turned herself in to police.
